How Did Niels Bohr Affect Us Today?

Niels Bohr changed our daily lives because even though Bohr worked on the atomic bomb. Bohr soon noticed that this could cause some serious damage to people so Bohr quickly switched from working on the atomic bomb to promoting atomic energy in a more useful and peaceful way. From Niels Bohrs discovery of the atom structure and how electrons circle the nucleus and his view of the nucleus being a liquid drop, other scientists found that by splitting the nucleus creates a massive amount of energy calculated to about 200 million volts. Later on scientists found out how to collect all that energy which led to the invention of nuclear power and power plants which now contributes 6% of the amount of energy that is produced.

Facts About Niels Bohr

'Prediction is very difficult, especially if it's.' - Niels Bohr quotes from BrainyQuote.com. Niels Bohr in 1922. Niels Bohr worked on his PhD thesis during 1910 – 1911, in which he discovered the Bohr–van Leeuwen theorem.Later rediscovered by Dutch physicist Hendrika Johanna van Leeuwen, the theorem states that when statistical mechanics and classical mechanics are applied consistently, the thermal average of magnetization is always zero.
